What ArtValue does, and what it doesn't
A photo is enough: ArtValue identifies the object, notes a signature or hallmark when there is one, and gives an indicative range based on public market data. Paintings, drawings, prints, sculptures, watches, jewellery, furniture, silverware, ceramics, glass, textiles, antique books, collectable arms made before 1900.
It is strong on signed or identifiable pieces, weak on anonymous bric-a-brac, and it refuses coins, stamps, musical instruments, wine, natural history and arms made after 1900. The estimate is indicative and non-binding: it replaces neither an auctioneer, nor an appraiser, nor an estate administrator. It's a sorting step, not an appraisal.
What we offer today
We start with a trackable link and a public price. The terms of a paid partnership will be defined with the first active partners: nothing is promised here that isn't already in place.
Who it's for
Estate clearance and house clearance
The skip is irreversible. One minute per signed piece first: the painting in the hallway, the watch in the drawer, the silver in the sideboard. You offer your clients a documented sort, and you keep control of what goes where.

Dealers and antique traders
On a consignment lot or a morning find, you decide by eye. ArtValue adds one input: the signature or hallmark it noticed, an indicative range, and an admission when it doesn't know. It flags the sleeper; it doesn't replace your eye.

Charity shops, reuse centres, social economy
Among donations, a few signed pieces sometimes hit the shelf at the price of everything else. An indicative estimate routes those pieces to a sale that funds your mission better.

Estate professionals
Estate administrators, probate solicitors, genealogists, wealth managers: heirs ask "is this worth anything?" before any inventory. An indicative first sort, which replaces no legal document and no appraisal, that you can recommend without taking on liability.

Content creators
Thrifting, antiques, art, collections: your videos end on "so what's it worth?". A result on screen in about a minute, honest even when the answer is "not much". A link in your name for your descriptions, and material to shoot with.
